To secure admission for your invited guests, we offer pre-paid admission tickets at an additional cost. ALL digital pre-paid advanced tickets will only grant permission into Ashley River Park on the day of your event. Distributing these tickets to invited guests is the sole responsibility of the renter and not the responsibility of Dorchester County Parks and Recreation staff. To purchase tickets that can be distributed either physically or virtually, please visit the Ashley River Park Office at 200 Renken Rd., Summerville, SC 29485.

Use of paste, glue, nails, tacks, staples, or any other item that may mark walls, signs, beams, floors, ceilings, doors, or windows may not be used while decorating the premises.

Use of confetti, glitter or water balloons is prohibited.
Helium balloons must be weighted.

Music and noise must be kept at reasonable levels as to not disrupt other facility patrons. Reasonable levels are to be determined by the manager on duty. Amplified sound is not allowed under any circumstances.

Users are responsible for damage to or loss of facility property or equipment.

There is no refrigerator for the Picnic Shelters or Screened Porch, so please plan accordingly.

Each rental group is responsible for leaving the facility in a neat and orderly state as it was found prior to use. Food debris shall be disposed of properly and trash placed in the containers provided. Groups serving oysters or shellfish must arrange for shell removal from park grounds.

Returned checks subject to a $35 fee. 50% refund (50% penalty) for all cancellations occurring within 30 days of the rental. Rescheduling within 30 days is allowed only one time. Reservations cancelled after 150 days from initial payment date will not be credited back to the original form of payment and must be processed through Dorchester County’s Finance Department at which point a check will be issued. Please allow up to 21 days to receive refunds for check payments.
